YWAM Life Melbourne has many different ministries that we do in and around the city!
City Ministry
Melbourne is a huge city full of so many different people everywhere you look. There are so many different nationalities that live all together. At YWAM Life Melbourne we want to be out in the city as much as possible reaching people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There are always festivals, events, celebrations and much more to be a part of! Whether through evangelism, praying, handing out Bibles, or just starting random conversation with people we meet we always want to be ready to serve and present the Gospel. At YWAM Life Melbourne we go into parts of the city to intercede on behalf of the people. Ministering within the city is great too because we get to reach the nations right in our own backyard.
Prayer Ministry
God has called us a YWAM Life Melbourne to live a life of prayer in all that we do. Prayer opens doors and allows God to lead us. Whether by praying for people on the streets, joining in on prayer for healing, praying for revival in Melbourne, or interceding for different areas in the city we want to cover the entire city in prayer. This call to prayer really started when we learned about the 1902 Revival of Melbourne where churches and church leaders prayed for almost 20 years before revival came. They consistently and sincerely prayed until they saw what they were praying for come to reality. Through our prayer ministry we want to see the same thing happen with Melbourne in the modern age! A city in revival for the Lord!
